This may include checking a variety of public records, interviewing witnesses, and conducting surveillance. We are equipped to conduct mobile surveillance with one or two investigators, stationary surveillance, as well as hidden microvideo cameras worn on the body for areas such as bars, bowling alleys, shopping centers, and more.
Surveillance involves more than just operating a video camera. There is preparation, research, and discretion that goes into each case before the investigator starts the actual surveillance. In one case, the insurer had offered plaintiff $300,000 to settle a bodily injury claim, which was deemed inadequate by plaintiff's counsel. After one day of surveillance and videotaping the plaintiff shopping, walking, not using a cane or limping, the offer was withdrawn. A jury trial was held and a defense verdict was reached, awarding the plaintiff no money. Other examples are available if you call. Not every case results in usable video or evidence.

This includes photos and video of the accident scene, measurements and diagramming skid marks and other evidence, canvassing the area for and interviewing witnesses, as well as reviewing police reports for accuracy. We have been involved in numerous serious plaintiff cases from start to finish, where the cases were settled for multiple millions of dollars. We offer rapid response to crash sites to quickly gather evidence and assist in determining liability.
